Nobody runs a marathon alone. Four members on what changed when they stopped training solo and turned up to a club run.

The cold is no excuse. We've pulled together the gear, the strategies and the mindset shifts to keep you moving through the Victoria winter.

Start with the layers

Merino base, a light shell, gloves you can take off after two kilometres. Most of Victoria's winter running is about the first ten minutes.

Then find people to do it with - a club run at 6am is a lot easier to turn up to than a solo one.
